Andrea Orlandi has echoed head coach Oscar Garcia’s thoughts about Brighton having nothing to lose in the game against Hull, so he’s looking for the team to achieve something very memorable indeed by giving Hull a shock with our performance.

Speaking to the Official Site ahead of Monday’s FA Cup clash, Orlandi says that the team have an opportunity to achieve something very memorable indeed when we face off against Hull, but whilst the pressure might not be on us, we can’t take them lightly and we certainly can’t be cavalier in our approach to the game.

‘We have nothing to lose, in the FA Cup I think we can play with a bit more freedom and we just have to try and beat Hull which is the next step. Nobody is expecting us to win the cup but it’s not what our mentality has to be, we have to go and remember the amazing opportunity we have to impress.’

Orlandi says that whilst all eyes are on achieving promotion to the Premier League for 2014-15 the Cup is most certainly not a distraction and it’s a challenge that the players have been relishing, because it is something special for the club and the fans.

Hopefully our performance will be right on the night, and we can frustrate them for large periods of the game, then if we can, it just depends on whether we can take the opportunities that come our way, because we will have opportunities and it’ll be about making them count.
