Head coach Oscar Garcia has said it’s time that Brighton turned their form around and got themselves back on track in tomorrow’s game against Blackburn Rovers.

Three straight defeats against Middlesbrough, Sheffield Wednesday and Ipswich Town have again dented our hopes of gaining a play off spot this season, but despite that run we do only have to make up four points and we do of course have a game in hand over those teams above us in the table and we simply have to make that game count for all three points and then we are back well in the mix.

Speaking to the Official Site ahead of the game, that was the exact focus of the gaffer because he knows really it’s now or never if we aren’t going to see our hopes slip away.

‘Everybody is a little bit worried because we are not taking our chances. We have enough chances to win games and now we are conceding soft goals but it can change in one game that is what we will try to do. We haven’t scored goals in the previous games but the good thing is we are creating. Hopefully our luck will change.’

Again it’s the lessor the two evils, we’d be more worried if we weren’t creating chances but again it’s about others in the team stepping up and scoring their fair share instead of us seemingly permanently relying on Leo Ulloa.

Of course with the injury to Will Buckley as well that’s another option we are now missing heading towards the end of the season, but I believe Craig Mackail-Smith may now be a lot nearer as he scored twice in tonight’s under 21 match.

Whether he’s near enough for tomorrow remains to be seen, but we cannot afford to not get three points if we want to keep our hopes alive.
