Marcos Painter has been declared fit for Saturday’s clash with Tranmere Rovers.

Painter was stretchered off in the closing stages of Tuesday nights Brentford game after a kick to the face from Nathan Byrne.

Painter was knocked out and received a cut to his lip which required a few stitches, but started light training today.

He is expected back in full training tomorrow and should be fit for Saturday’s game.

The 24 year old left back has turned out 41 times for The Seagulls this season, more than any other player and has yet to miss a game in this seasons league campaign.
