Diego Poyet, son of Gus, gets a call up to England’s Under 18 Squad for the Victory Shield clash against Wales.

Gus Poyet has woken up a proud man this morning after his son, Diego was drafted into the England Under-18 Squad by manager Kenny Swain.

Diego plays for Charlton Athletic’s youth academy and has impressed Swain with his performances at under 16’s and 17’s level. Gus, who hails from Montivideo in Uruguay will be keen to watch when England take on Wales in Haverfordwest on October 15th in the Victory Shield.
