Brighton have become the first club to look to better educate the young players coming through the club about sexual consent, and the full laws surrounding this.

The ‘Protect, Inform and Prevent’ programme has been launched with the BBC giving you a chance to hear more about this in an Audio clip, which gives more details about the programme it’s aims, which are of course obvious in many ways, and the thought process behind it.

This is a very serious matter, and not on to be joked about at all, but people far better qualified than me will comment on this so I’ll not really add much more, but most ‘should’ know right from wrong but Chike Kandi and Harry Doherty said that the ‘grey area’ between what was actually viewed as consent and non-consent was made clearer.

Again, if this is something that should be needed is for people to decide, but better education about such matters isn’t a bad thing is it?
