New signing David Rodriguez has said that he’s looking forward to striking up a partnership with Leo Ulloa on the pitch as he believes that although they were very different players in terms of style and what they offer individually he feels that the difference is what could make them great together.

After joining us in the January transfer window, he went on to make his debut as a second half substitute in the game against Swansea last Sunday, and he feels having worked with Leo for a little bit longer in training now that they can both have a big part in how the remainder of our season goes.

Speaking to the Official Site he explained.

‘Leo and I are totally different players, but he’s a player who can make a difference. Whether I play up alongside him though is not for me to say – that’s more to do with the coach and the system he wants to play, but now I want to help the team improve further.’

Rodriguez goes on to say that he feels he’s a very hard working player which is one of his greatest strengths on the pitch, but also with his speed and eye for goal he feels he’ll soon have the fans behind him and hopefully entertained.

Be interesting to see how he does over the remainder of the season now, but Andrea Orlandi has piped up and talked about his goal scoring record in Spain and how highly rated he was over there, and having seen him in training he feels he will contribute well to our efforts as he is a good player.
