A quick blast of Song 2? God no.

Brighton fans have started an online petition to try and convince the club NOT to play annoying music after home goals at Falmer. Sorry, The Amex.

Having witnessed the full horror of the post-goal playing drown out the fans’ cheers at other new grounds, Brighton supporters are hoping their petition will see the powers that be at the Albion resist similarly tacky measures.

One poster on popular Albion website www.northstandchat.biz said simply: ‘I don’t want some crappy failed DJ telling me when or how long I should be cheering for after a goal.

‘I don’t want an annoying, generic, used-by-thirty-other-clubs turd of a song sucking the life out of our celebrations.’

Quite.
