These claims have been made in the Daily Star, which of course must make them true!

Only today Tomer Hemed had spoken about being impressed with the Brighton squad, and the strength in depth it has with this inspiring him to improve, but his ability is apparently interesting Premier League side Swansea?

A Swansea side that (we must remember) doesn’t have a boss since they sacked Gary Monk so, as much as clubs have scouting networks always looking at players, quite if the new boss would want the Israeli international remains to be seen!

Scouts, as the report went on to say, watched him when Brighton faced Derby on Saturday having got wind of some impressive performances for Albion since his arrival from Almeria in the summer for £2m.

I’ll believe a serious interest in the 28-year-old if and when an offer comes in for him in January, which even if it did I wouldn’t suspect Chris Hughton will be too willing to offload Hemed as he’ll want to (if anything) strengthen the squad not weaken it!
