Premier League Leicester have been interested in Leo Ulloa this summer but so far offers have been knocked back for him.

What the amounts were are unknown, and probably never will officially be released, but some reports say that as much as £7m has been rejected? A figure in that ballpark would almost certainly secure his services though.

The 27 year old, now back from a holiday, will reportedly make it clear to Sami Hyypia that he wants to be given the chance to play in the Premier League and wants us to let him talk to Leicester but at the same time, unlike many players, isn’t going to make idle threats should we deny him this chance.

Once a player expresses a desire to leave usually it’s best that they do just that and if the right offer comes in from Leicester our main goalscoring threat should soon become their player.

Another that could still become our player though is Stephen Ward.

We’ve made our first official moves to bring him back after his loan last season but Wolves manager Kenny Jackett insists that we are still some way off an agreement for the Republic of Ireland international though.
