Like many of those within the Brighton squad, Solly March will have a first chance to show what he can do in the Premier League this season and he feels he’s ready for the step up.

March, who was part of the side to beat Crawley on Saturday, getting on the scoresheet, feels his versatility could be important for Albion but knows being clinical will be important in the topflight.

There’s not a lack of confidence in his ability to get into good positions but March has told the Official Website he’s also aware of the fact chances will have to be taken but the winger feels he’ll have an impact with the experience and fitness of captain Bruno a key factor.

‘I don`t mind playing either side, I`m quite versatile. I think being more clinical in the Premier League will be key, because I get chances and get into the right positions – it`s just about taking them,’ said March.

Adding: ‘I`m confident that I can affect games as much as I did in the Championship, and it also helps massively with Bruno behind you. He`s a fit guy for a 36-year-old as well; he keeps running up and down the pitch which helps me because I can play him in to cross the ball.’

March was impressive against Crawley with the run out improving his fitness and a goal a boost to his confidence, albeit something he doesn’t lack.

There’s plenty of options on the wings so Chris Hughton will also have some difficult decisions to make but March went on to say all are happy with the competition for places and are ready to step in as and when called upon by the boss.

‘I was happy to get through it and get more fitness. It was nice to get an early chance and a goal, which was a confidence booster. We have a number of different wingers at the moment and we`re all happy and prepared to step in when required and we all want to do well.’
