Brighton’s 2-0 win over Barnsley not only secured three points it also took Albion back to the top of the Championship ahead of Newcastle, who aren’t in action until tonight when they face Aston Villa.
Sam Baldock’s second half double – in Chris Hughton’s 100th game in charge – saw Brighton to victory.
