The Championship season continued with the latest round of games played over the weekend.

Brighton would have confirmed the title with a point at Norwich on Friday but defeat kept Newcastle’s hopes of winning the championship alive.

Victory for Fulham keeps them in control in the battle to finish sixth, at least, ahead of Leeds in the final play-off spot.

As for relegation second-bottom Wigan are just about clinging on but WILL be relegated if Birmingham claim a point at Aston Villa – Blackburn, 22nd, went into Sunday two points behind the Blues and three off Nottingham Forest.
