The 2016-17 season continues with the latest round of matches.

Among this upcoming schedule is a match for Brighton against Brentford at the Amex Stadium on Saturday with it having a 3pm kick-off.

Previous results

Fri 26 Aug 2016 – Championship
Burton 1-0 Derby 19:45

Sat 27 Aug 2016 – Championship
Barnsley 4-0 Rotherham 15:00
Birmingham 3-0 Norwich 15:00
Blackburn 0-1 Fulham 15:00
Brentford 1-1 Sheff Wed 15:00
Bristol City 3-1 Aston Villa 15:00
Cardiff 0-1 Reading 15:00
Huddersfield 1-0 Wolves 15:00
Ipswich 1-0 Preston 15:00
Nottm Forest 3-1 Leeds 15:00
Wigan 0-1 QPR 15:00
Newcastle 2-0 Brighton 17:30

In the last match Brighton suffered a two-nil defeat at Newcastle to go into the international break with a loss, which was hardly ideal but by no means terminal.

Brentford will visit the Amex tomorrow in a match Brighton will be keen to get back to winning ways from though with Chris Hughton able to fend off deadline day interest in the Albion players so we now know what we have is what we’ve got until January at least.

A draw with Sheffield Wednesday, who of course end Brighton’s promotion hopes last season, was what Brentford went into the break with.

What will happen in this one though?

Cast your vote so we know if you think it’ll be all smiles or disappointment for Brighton come the full time whistle.
