Brighton’s Championship season continued with a win at the Amex Stadium against Hull on Saturday.

The international break didn’t have a negative impact on Brighton with Albion continuing where they left off a couple of weeks ago with second placed Hull seen off by Hemed’s early goal in a one-nil win to open up a four-point lead at the top of the table!

Ahead of kick-off the club again paid tribute to the 11 victims on the Shoreham air disaster in August, which puts much in perspective really doesn’t it….

It was a perfect start to the football return for Brighton with Hemed (5) finishing off from close range after an initial effort from Stephens, who remained with Albion despite interest in him ahead of the closure of the transfer window, was blocked.

Albion could have extended the lead, a couple of times, before half time but Hull ‘keeper McGregor wasn’t beaten again.

With the second half seen out without Stockdale beaten, with the Brighton ‘keeper saving from Elmohamady, Diame and Hernandez as Hull looked to threaten an equaliser, Albion secured a fifth win in six-matches and maintain the unbeaten start to the season.
