Brighton’s Championship season continued with a win against Huddersfield at the Amex Stadium on Saturday.

A second half winner from James Wilson saw Brighton to a two-one win over Huddersfield to move Albion back up to third with the gap closed on Middlesbrough, who were beaten by Nottingham Forest.

Recent addition by Chris Hughton, with him brought having proven himself at this level previously, Anthony Knockaert set up Bobby Zamora to see Brighton take the lead on the half hour at the end of a counter attack but Harry Bunn headed Huddersfield level on half time.

Midway through the second half Knockaert was again the provider as he crossed in for Wilson, who had come off the bench, with the Man United loanee heading home. Huddersfield ended the game with 10-men when Tommy Smith was sent off for collecting two yellow cards.

The disappointment from the game was the fact Knockaert was denied a goal of his own when he struck the post, that and a failure once gain to keep a cleansheet with this not happening since a goalless draw with Preston way back in October!

These were the other results.
