Brighton’s Championship season continued, as did the unbeaten run, with a draw at Turf Moor against Burnley on Sunday.

The majority (certainly of late) of Brighton’s games are ending in draws with the weekend no different with an early Zamora goal cancelled out by Gray, both goals within the opening five-minutes, in this one-one draw.

In front of the live Sky Sports cameras Brighton couldn’t really have made a better start as in the first attack, with Albion very much on the front foot from the off, it was one-nil!

With a ball into the box coming back off the bar Zamora (1), given a start by Hughton, was on hand to turn home and get Brighton off to a flying start with one of the simplest goals of his Albion career, probably as a whole but they all count!

Ideally Brighton wanted to consolidate this lead but Burnley were soon level….

Dunk and Keane were ‘jostling’ for positions in the box but, in fairness, Dunk did also have a large handful of Burnley defender Keane’s shirt too, which was spotted by the referee and a penalty awarded.

Gray (4) didn’t pass up this chance to make it one-all.

After that it could have gone either way with Hemed, who was the one who hit the bar as Zamora followed up for his goal, also firing over in the first half with Stockdale called into action a couple of times making good saves to keep Burnley at bay.

The point, much better for Brighton as the away side, was something Albion seemed more content with in the second half as Burnley pushed for a winner with Arfield going close and Long, from close range, pocking an effort wise.

A point was enough to keep Brighton in second, as many points behind Championship leaders Hull, and also extend the unbeaten start to the season with this stretched to 18-matches in total including the end of last season!
