Brighton’s Championship season continued with another win at Craven Cottage against Fulham on Saturday.

Albion are still looking for a first glimpse of returning former player Zamora this season however even without the former England international Brighton made it three wins out of three in all competitions with strikers Baldock and Hemed scoring the goals either side of Cairney’s effort for the home side in a two-one win.

Hemed was denied by the crossbar as Brighton threatened to take the lead with his countryman Kayal denied by a save from Fulham ‘keeper Bettinelli with the lead coming on the half hour mark when Bruno’s cross was finish by Baldock (30) to make it one-nil.

A half time lead wasn’t maintained though with Fulham drawing level just ahead of this when Cairney (43) smashed an effort into the top corner.

Much like the midweek League Cup win over Southend this game looked to be heading towards a draw before late drama gave the Seagulls the chance to win it in injury-time.

On Tuesday, as he had been the Championship opener, LuaLua scored the winner however it was his burst into the box that drew a foul from Hutchinson to see a penalty awarded in the fourth-minute of injury time.

Hemed (90) showed the composure needed to score the winner.
