Brighton’s Championship season continued with a draw against Hull at the KC Stadium on Tuesday.

Obviously Brighton would have preferred all three-points at Hull but Albion will be content enough to come away with a point from a nil-nil draw.

The home side threatened to win it late on with David Stockdale, having already made a good save to deny Tom Huddlestone, saving well as he turned an effort onto the crossbar from Hull’s Sam Clucas.

Tomer Hemed did have the ball in the back of the net from an Anthony Knockaert but the Brighton striker saw his goal ruled out as he was offside with Albion now up to third above Burnley and just a point off second place Middlesbrough, remaining three off leaders Hull.

These were the other results.

Blackburn 3-0 Fulham
Hull 0-0 Brighton

Obviously limited games but a very impressive Blackburn (three-nil) win over Fulham at Ewood Park, a win I think we can safely say was needed as Paul Lambert’s side were slipping a little too close to a place they didn’t want to be!

Leaders Hull (nil-nil) increased the lead at the top of the Championship table, it’s difficult to decide who would be the happier of the sides though following this draw?

Who was the Albion MotM in this game? That’s what the latest poll is asking so do cast a vote.

Did a starter, or someone from the bench, offer the most?
