Bruno was also in front of the media department following the scoreless draw against Preston at Deepdale, and for him he knew we didn’t show enough quality in the final third over the 90 minutes.

Speaking to the Official Site in his own post game press conference, Bruno admitted that manager Chris Hughton was right when he talked about it being a fair point on th day, but also in terms of us not doing enough to really cause them problems when we were on the ball.

That’s something he hoping to see us do better in tonight’s game at the Amex when we host Sheffield Wednesday.

‘We knew it was going to be a tough game because they are on a good run and play in a different system to what we`re used to. It`s tough to play against these type of teams, especially away from home, they played with three at the back and it was difficult to find the right passes. There weren`t too many chances to score, but we`ve got a draw and we`ll keep going.’

The 35 year old went on to say that with competition and form increasing at the top of the Championship table now, and Brighton slipping up in a few results of late, it had been frustrating for the players, but they know they can only use that frustration to motivate them to improvement and ensure we pick up more wins in the remaining matches.

‘We feel like we`ve lost two points here, even though we didn`t create too many chances, it still feels like two points dropped. We are in a quick race to be at the top of the table and we need to do our best in every single game.’

As for tonight’s clash against Wednesday, he went on to say.

‘We just need to keep playing and try to create more chances. We`ve kept three consecutive clean sheets, which is good. But it`s going to be difficult playing at home against Sheffield Wednesday; it`s going to be an important game for them as well. We need to show what we can do.’
