Monday evening saw the draw made for this season’s FA Cup third round and Brighton and Hove Albion have been given a beautifully long trip West to Dean Court and Bournemouth.

With manager Chris Hughton’s side already making the five odd hour round trip for our Premier League clash on December 22nd, it’s certainly not the tie that anyone had hoped for or wanted for the January 5th weekend in the New Year and we could definitely have been given a presumed easier way through to the fourth of the competition.
Survival in the top-flight continues to be our main aim though, as it will be for Bournemouth, so for those fans willing to make the long trip they could be treated to more fringe faces as I doubt we’ll prioritise the game and it is an opportunity to rest people and get game time into others.
It’s fair to say fans who took the time to react to the draw on social media weren’t exactly impressed.
Yawns. Puts the kettle on. #bhafc
