Albion travel to Wigan tomorrow hoping to make it 3 wins in a row, Wigan will be hoping to do the same. The Seagulls will have their work cut out in trying to beat a skillful if somewhat erratic Wigan side.

Vital Quotes:

Brighton’s Ashley Barnes said to the Argus that the Albion are still looking for a top two spot and with a host of talent coming back from injury who would bet against us.

Wigan Athletic Team News:

Wigan Athletic will have Jean Beausejour available again, the Chilean international played a key role in his country’s victory over England at Wembley last Friday then came of the bench after just nine minutes against Brazil in their 2-1 defeat in Toronto. Owen Coyle also has reported the rest of his internationals have returned fit and well. Gary Caldwell, Shaun Maloney and Ali Al Habsi remain sidelined with Ivan Ramis close to a return.

Player to watch: Callum McManaman

A very gifted young winger who will test our full backs to the max. Although Wigan have a surprisingly strong squad throughout.

Brighton & H.A. Team News:

Both Liam Bridcutt and Andrea Orlandi could start their first league games for some while, although OG may start them on the bench given the strong performances from those filling their boots in their absence. Keith, Andrews and Will Buckley are still sidelined but Kemy Agustien and Andrew Crofts are also likely to make up the strongest squad the Albion have had for ages.

Player to watch: Liam Bridcutt

Albion are a different team with Bridders in the side, they can attack with the knowledge that he will be there holding the back line together.

Match Facts & Stats

The Seagulls have met the Latics just 10 times with the Albion winning 5, losing 4 and drawing 1.
Wigan have a habit of scoring 3 when they beat us but Albion’s best wins were a couple of 2-1s.
The last time the two teams met, wigan ran out 4-2 winners at the Withdean in 2005.

Match Prediction:

A very tough game and probably one we would expect to lose but I will go with a 2-2 draw.
