In an exciting game with plenty of chances, Andrew Crofts 72nd minute header earned the Seagulls a tremendous 3pts at a previously unbeaten at home Wigan Athletic.

With Wigan having the luxury of starting Grant Holt on the bench, on paper this always looked like one of the games where you would be more than happy with a point but an Albion side starting unchanged from the victory against Blackburn, Bridcutt and Orlandi being on the bench if required, rose to the challenge and matched Wigan blow for blow, especially in the second half.

Albion’s shots on target beat their Wigan counterparts, something we aren’t used to seeing recently. When Crofts rose to head home what would be the winner, there was still plenty to do and the defence have to be praised for keeping out a very attack minded team.

So that’s three wins on the bounce, two of those away from home and it sees the Seagulls only two points off the play off places with a large number of their key players returning in the next few weeks.

We can now look forward to a couple of home games against Barnsley and Leicester after the trip along the west coast next week to Bournemouth.
This little run should be the turning point for BHAFC this season and much credit must go to the youngsters who have stepped in and admirably filled in the injured players boots.

On a day of nearly all positives, the one negative was Bruno was cautioned AGAIN and will now have to sit out the next game.

Well done you mighty Seagulls, what a fantastic result!
