Brighton have only 15 points left to play for in this year’s battle in the Championship.
With the games dwindling down now at the real business end of the campaign as Brighton find themselves heading towards the end of May, we sit in top spot having jumped ahead of Newcastle United by two points in the last round of fixtures and the aim is simply to stay there now and try and take the title as well as automatic promotion.
With Huddersfield Town in third place on 74 points but having a game in hand on us, certainly now is not the time for any complacency as with 15 points left to play for – 18 for Huddersfield – a couple of bad games and results could change the look of the table and we have to ward against that.
Onto Wolverhampton Wanderers this weekend and with three straight victories, we go on the lookout for four on the trot now to keep the pressure on and hopefully grow that gap on Newcastle to really have an advantage.
