Brighton picked up the win that they needed to ensure League One survival on Saturday.
A 1-0 win over Stockport, thanks to a goal from Nicky Forster, ensured that Brighton remained in League One next season. Carlisle also survived after their win, but after losing 3-0 at Leeds it was Northampton, who started the day two places outside of the drop zone, that suffered relegation.
