Brighton’s end to the year hasn’t been brilliant, however as a whole the year has been impressive even though it’s now five without a win for Albion heading into the New Year, which kicks off with Wolves faced on New Years Day.

All sides go through spells when things aren’t going for you with Bruno aware this is the case for us at the moment telling the Official Website.

‘During the season you have good and bad runs. All of the teams have it. Some teams have it earlier in the season and we’re having it now. The main thing now is about how we come back from this situation. We know we can say a lot of things about us having too many injuries, which does affect the team.’

Against Ipswich as we know Brighton of course had a goal disallowed, hit the bar and had other chances.

He added some of the recent performances haven’t ‘been the best’ but is backing the tide to turn and ideally in the meeting with Wolves on Friday.

‘We need to change something because our performances in recent games have not been the best. It’s all about the small details. We had a couple of chances and hit the crossbar, but we couldn’t score. Of course the next game is a big challenge for us because Wolves are a really good side, but we need to win as soon as possible – hopefully on Friday.’

The last meeting with Wolves ended in a nil-nil draw with a penalty missed in a game he thought Brighton ‘were better than them’ with this something he’s looking to be the case again on Friday.

Much has changed with Albion since Bruno arrived with him enjoying his time with the club now as much as he always has.

The 35-year-old finished by saying he’s happy enough with how his person performances are going with him always looking to impress Chris Hughton so he can play as much as possible.

‘I look after myself and enjoy playing with the quality around me. I keep doing the same things and try to be ready for every single game. When I first came here, we didn’t have the facilities we have now. It’s a massive change for me because I can do a lot of things now which I couldn’t do when I arrived.

‘I’m here in England to play football and it’s my life. I try to always be fit and now it’s easier for me to be ready for the manager because I can do the work I need to do at the training ground.’
