The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Leeds United this Friday.

Brighton host Leeds United on Friday December 9 for the game at the Amex Stadium and the match carries a 7.45pm kick off.

Referee: Paul Tierney
Linesmen: Andrew Garratt and Ian Hussin
Fourth Official: Stephen Martin

Match Day referee Tierney has officiated 13 games in 2016/17, with a return of 49 yellow cards and one red card.

His highest card count this season was seven yellows and one red in the game between Swindon and Oxford.

He took in 42 matches last season and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 118 yellow cards and four red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Blackburn Rovers and Bolton Wanderers on August 28 with a total of eight yellows being shown and one red card.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
