Gus Poyet says he is not afraid to change things in order to make the most of Albion’s new-found strength in depth.

Albion’s recent loan signings, along with a host of players returning from injury, have given Poyet’s squad a rejuvenated look – with serious competition for places.

This has coincided with the recent return to form, and Poyet is relishing the options now available to him, but still insists there is more to come from his Albion side.

Speaking to the Argus, “I don’t think we were outstanding (versus Leeds), so it’s not as if the team that played on Saturday, because we won, all deserve to play on Tuesday.

“I think I need to find that click between the players, and the ones who are on the pitch that day have got the chance to play from here to the end of the season.

“I have got possibilities now. For example on Tuesday evening everyone will be available, except for Spadge (Matt Sparrow), but then on Sunday (Liverpool) there are a couple of players Cup-tied (Mattock and Jara Reyes), so I have got the change to bring others back.

“There are options and I can use them a little bit more whilst always thinking about winning the game.”

Albion take on Millwall tomorrow night at the Amex, and will be searching for a win that could well take them back into the play-off spots.
