Rotherham v Brighton (Preview)

It’ll take something drastic for Brighton, not wishing to tempt fate, to go down now but a run of just one win in our last five-matches is something we’ll be keen to end at Rotherham, who are four-points clear of the bottom three.

Should we suffer defeat at the New York Stadium on Easter Monday, we’re currently five-points ahead of Rotherham, then we run the risk of being dragged back into the relegation dogfight if other sides struggling at the bottom collect positive results….

Rotherham have Kari Arnason (suspension) back after he missed two-matches with Danny Ward (foot and knee) fit again after five-matches out.

Captain Gordon Greer (suspension) will sit this one out as he collected his 10th booking of the season in our defeat against Norwich at the Amex Stadium on Saturday.

Lewis Dunk should link up with Greg Halford as a result.

Middlesbrough loanee Mustapha Carayol was an unused sub in that one-nil defeat so will be hoping to play a part, you would expect he will and could well come into the starting XI or why sign him on loan!

The game at the Amex Stadium back in October ended in a one-one draw with us unbeaten in the last six-matches against Rotherham stretching back to a one-nil defeat in 2002.

We’ve won four of those so will be looking for more of the same, but will we manage it?
