With the effects of Hurricane Jude causing havoc on all forms of travel Monday, on the clubs official website Albion CEO has thanked Albion fans for under taking to travel to the Amex and enduring the long delays and bad weather.
Barber went on to explain that although there were a lot of empty seats (comparatively to usual), that the attendance figure of over 27,000 was the figure for tickets sold, not for those that came through the turnstiles.
I personally think that this is perfectly acceptable as that indicates the revenue made by the club for that match and if conditions and problems with travelling stop people attending this shouldn’t affect the final figure.
