Brighton drew with Aston Villa in the Championship on Friday.

Aston Villa went ahead when Nathan Baker headed the visitors into an early lead from an Albert Adomah freekick but Brighton reacted on the stroke of half time to draw level ahead of the break when Albion loanee Glenn Murray bagged his 10th-goal in the Championship this season.

The unbeaten run is extended to 11-matches but Aston Villa did hit the crossbar through Jonathan Kodjia’s header and Brighton ‘keeper David Stockdale had to make some important saves too.

However, Villa took more than a point away from the Amex Stadium as Chris Hughton’s assistant Colin Calderwood was confirmed as also going back to Birmingham with Steve Bruce as he’s joining his coaching staff!

This video shows the highlights from this match at the Amex Stadium.
