Radostin Kishishev, Gary Hart, Christian Baz, Augustin Battipiedi, Francisco Sandaza and Chris Holroyd will all not have their deals renewed.
Baz and Battipiedi were signed in the summer on year contracts from there homeland of Argentina. It was a risk, one that hasn’t quite payed off but that should not put either Poyet or the board from signing another rock from non league which could be polished into a diamond.
Chris Holroyd has spent the season in the reserves and out on loan at first Stevenage and then Bury enjoying a decent run of goal scoring form and is in my view certain to find a new club.
Fran Sandaza is somewhat of an enigma. He scores goals and got some crucial ones whilst with The Albion. I would think his chances of finding a new club are very high and perhaps a return to Scotland may be on the cards.
Radostin Kishishev and Gary Hart represent two senior pros leaving the club in a better position than when they found it. Hart joined for £1000 and a set of kit when the Albion were playing their home games in Gillingham. The veteran forward has been through it all and still has a lot to offer a side in League 1 or 2. Radostin Kishishev leaves a club he joined in League 1 who, are now in the Championship. Kish signalled his intention to retire when Albion no longer needed him and move into coaching and management a move I am sure he will succeed in.
