In a bid to ensure the good work in the first half of the season doesn’t end up coming to nothing, with Brighton now six-matches without a win including losing three of the last four, Albion have launched a big money bid for Miler Bolanos by all accounts?

Well, at least as far as the Sun is concerned anyway! Not that this makes it true….

Ecuadorian international Bolanos currently plays for CS Emelec where he’s scored 61-goals in 105 appearances including five in five already this season leading to a club record bid submitted according to the claims.

It’s said this early season for ‘has alerted a host of clubs to his potential availability.’

Assuming these reports are accurate, and a club record offer has been made for the 25-year-old, it’ll make it abundantly clear Brighton aim to continue to push for a place in the Premier League during the second half of the season but if (should Chris Hughton want this) he’s the answer remains to be seen.
